News Print Poetry is a unique form of poetry similar to "found poetry or "blackout poetry." There are poems hidden in your newspaper if you know how to find them. Volume 1 of "News Print Poetry 2012" contains 101 poems written from January to March. Every day one or more news stories are taken from the Orlando Sentinel and transformed into a poem by selecting the desired words, keeping all words in their original order, and not adding any words. Taken together, the poems are a retrospective of the year's events and provide a panoramic view of our society. Taken individually, each poem provides an inspirational, amusing or poignant view--sometiemes all three at the same time--of the topic.
