Why publish another book of photographs about New York City? Let me explain.A friend and I were walking to a neighborhood restaurant. "Tell me," my friend asked. "Why do you like New York so much?""Well," I replied, "there's always street theater. And sometimes it lasts only a minute."We crossed 8th Avenue. As we strolled down 23rd Street, a man completely dressed in tin cans ambled down the sidewalk.He looked at us.We looked at him.And then he winked."See? That's what I mean!" I pointed out. We all continued on our way.Fast forward to a few days later. I had to take my cat to the vet.Now New Yorkers are innovative when it comes to means of transportation. My reluctant cat sat in her carrier that was perched on top of my shopping cart. As we trundled down the street, a tourist took a photo of me!
