Our ancestors considered New Year's, Christmas and Yuletide fortune-telling as the most traditional, because, according to the inhabitants of Ancient Russia, it was at this time that evil spirits became active and the souls of the dead came from the other world.
In ancient times, during fortune-telling, young men and women used almost all objects available to them, such as buttons, bread, felt boots, rings, etc.
