Wonderful poetry book!

I read this book over and over to my children who loved the silly and fun poems. Many of these they can recite by heart! I bought a copy for each of them to share with their children. Most loved poem book in our family.

IF I HAD TO CHOOSE JUST ONE BOOK OF CHILDREN'S POETRY..

If I had to choose just one book of children's poetry, this would be the one. Not only do we have some relatively new stuff published here, which, by the way, is quite good, we have many, many of the old favorites. This volume contains hundreds of poems and rhymes which are sure to delight the current crop of young readers, but also will bring back memories to the older reader long forgotten. I like this work and do wish it were back in print. If you can find a nice used copy, I certainly recommend you add this one to your collection.
