A real page turner. A love story that has to win.

Rafe is a man for any woman to be attracted to. He has all the qualities of a true Irishman. Chantel is the true southern belle with all the longings of a woman. Their story is strong and complicated. The love scenes are breathtaking and well written. I enjoyed this book very much and I look foward to reading Memphis and Atlanta.

The best historical trilogy on the market yet.

If you are into the civilwar era, then this is the trilogy to read. Mrs. Orwig takes you on a journey from start to finish on events on the civil war. Rafferty takes us to New Orleans for the events that lead to the secession of the southern states. In the second book, "Memphis", Caleb enters the war in support of the Confederacy. Here he falls in love with Sophia where the story takes you through the trials of the Yankee seige. "Atlanta", the third and last book, featuring the third brother Fortune helps us understand the reconstruction the south faced after losing the war to the Federals. I highly recommend this series to anyone. It seems everyone falls in love with a different O'Brian brother.
