An excellent account of the events about the New London School explosion in 1937. Contains many eye witness and survivor accounts. Having been raised in East Texas and having older parents who were involved in the rescue themselves, Lori Olson presents information that has not been revealed in recent years. She has done a good job of presenting a fairly balanced account of the event. It is a short book - only 108 pages - but for anyone interested in Texas history or disaster history it is a must read. Glad that Lori, from Minnesota, took an interest in an old Texas event.
