KJV/NLT Bible Reading

This is a good source to study and learn the word of GOD. Its translated into simply english to better understand and will help those who are new to the body of JESUS CHRIST or those who are established Christians but still look to the word for guidance. This new translation helps to understand exactly those things that GOD wants us to know about HIM, JESUS CHRIST and the HOLY SPIRIT. I encourage anyone who is starting their walk with JESUS CHRIST to buy this Bible OR to this would be a nice gift to give to someone who is walking with JESUS CHRIST or who has accepted HIM as their LORD.

I love this Bible because it has the 2 versions side by side. I have always prefered the KJ until I got this Bible and the NLT is such easy reading and sheds light on the KJ. I love reading a passage in both.

A wonderful tool for bible study

Two of my favorite bible versions in one book. The tried and true King James and easy to understand New Living Translation. It is awesome to read the Word in old text and then in everyday language. The Tyndale Bible Verse Finder, Index to Bible Promises and 365-Day reading plan are nice extras in the front of the bible. Good Job!

A very nice Bible

The more I carry this Bible, the more I like it. The binding does not smell like leather, but it has a very soft and high quality feel to it; the two tone stitched cover is stylish but still somewhat conservative. The NLT translation is the improved second edition. There are no cross-references in the text, but there are a few helps at the front of the Bible. The helps include a one-year reading plan, a subject based topical index and a short list of Bible promises. Although I am not sure about the font size, it appears to be about 8 point. I have not had any difficulty reading it, but I do not require large print. (yet) I am very pleased with this Bible and find it perfect for its intended use. My church emphasizes the KJV, but often I find it helpful to have an easy to read translation handy. In my opinion, this is a very nice Bible.
