In the aftermath of the Chicago battle, six of the teenage gods find themselves scattered throughout history. Accepting their fate, the gods settle into their new existence. All except Ty, the God of Time. He refuses to rest until he's gathered the others and returned them all to their proper era.
Back in the present, civil unrest spreads like a plague. The humans that have become Vanir fight for their survival as they're stripped of their jobs, their homes, and their rights. The rampant fear of the Vanir spawns the formation of a human protection organization, the Purists. As the extremist group grows in power and preaches about the unavoidable war, they secretly prep mankind for battle.
The two remaining goddesses attempt to bridge the gap between The Purists and Vanir, they quickly learn that propaganda is a double-edged sword. The growing tension between the groups is unavoidable, but the gods' involvement will determine the world's fate. If they succeed it won't guarantee the equality they're fighting for, but if they fail, all the god-like beings will be wiped from existence, including the new gods, themselves.
