General Timothy Morte recreates the ancient Gods in the form of eight vessels that will help end worldwide corruption. But the world may not be ready to accept that demigods already walk among them. As the new gods develop and flex their independence Morte questions whether the group can be trusted to follow orders.
As a precaution, Morte develops a contingency, a being embodied with all the other gods' unique abilities. With a volatile energy source and no inhibitions, the ninth god may spell disaster for all of Morte's carefully laid-out plans.
