Neverending Storm

Life seldom turns out the way we plan. We work and struggle and plan and worry but ultimately we learn that very little is under our control. God is in His heaven and often His plans are not our plans. It is with a humbled perspective that I have written this book about my family's journey with chronic illness. The journey has been full of unexpected twists and turns, potholes and roadblocks, times of peril and occasional sheer terror. Like life in general for a lot of people, I suppose. Many have worse stories to tell. The point of telling ours is this: through it all we have profoundly learned about the sufficiency of God's grace as he works out His plans for our lives. We're still learning.
