Not just for football die-hards!

James Harrison may not be the first person one would expect valuable life advice from but this book imparts some haltingly wise anecdotes and a unique and unending pursuit that I found inspiring. The book fulfills public curiosity in regards to Harrison's controversial issues while illuminating his character and outlook. It provides an inside view to a man that is more complex than he may seem, a man that is softer than his exterior. As a somewhat technically unaware football fan I was relieved that while the book obviously contains necessary discussion of football achievements, stats, and lingo, it is not difficult to follow or understand. It even revealed to me a few insights into the sport I had not thought of before. All that said it is a good read and satisfied both the Lit Major and Football fan in me.
