Neurophysiology of Out Of Body Experience

Out of body experiences can be initiated by traumatic head injuries, near-death experiences, dissociative and psychedelic drugs, sensory deprivation, dehydration, sleep disorders and dreaming and electrical stimulation of the brain, among others. This can be deliberately induced by some experiences during day time. It is never dangerous to have 'out-of-body' experiences. There are some experiences which might be weird/different, but rest assured that the OBE traveller (male or female) will always get back to his body. The soul is connected to the body by a silver cord, always so that, you will never get lost into the outer space. OBEs typically happen without any advanced warning and usually don't last for very long. If you have a neurological condition, like an epilepsy, you may be more likely to experience OBEs, and they may happen more often. But for most of people, an OBE will happen very rarely, maybe only once in a lifetime. Some scientists refer to OBEs as astral projections. But there are some key differences. .An astral projection usually involves an intentional effort in sending your consciousness from your body, refers to your consciousness traveling out of your body.
