Benefits of Networking

I came across this book almost 8 years ago when I was 25 years old and just beginning my journey up the corporate ladder. Today at 33, I am one of the youngest hospital CEO's. It is a phenomenal book that has excellent tips on networking. One particular tip that has been most helpful is that when a person gives you their business card, be sure to record the date and a few key details of your encounter on the back of their card. People are very impressed when you can recall months later how you met and all the details of previous conversations (i.e kids, schooling etc.) It's a shame that this book is out of print.
