This handbook is a compilation of the author's personal lessons in his journey to build a network, to create opportunities, and to find internships which will lead him to gainful employment. The author recommends to the young adult reader many actionable steps to help overcome some awkward situations, gain confidence, and create a plan which is highly focused on building a network early in life to help achieve professional goals. The book describes numerous definitions of "networking" and how to make these work in anyone's life. The author then guides the reader how to make the most of the successes gained once an internship or new job is established.The author continues to apply these lessons in his career journey while he completes his formal education. He is motivated by two reasons to share his lessons. One because he has witnessed many peers wait to begin networking after they start applying for jobs with a resume lacking the value of experiences. The second is to show is appreciation to those who have become a part of his network in providing him guidance and opportunities.
