Nero Wolfe: The Series

This is a reference book on the 1981 TV series Nero Wolfe, starring William Conrad. The book includes all episodes in order of original air date transmission, complete cast lists, numerous photographs, and a story synopsis for each episode. I have also included the pilot film Nero Wolfe, made in 1977 starring Thayer David (who unfortunately died not long after it was made) as well as two films made in the 1930s, Meet Nero Wolfe (1936) and The League of Frightened Men (1937). Nero Wolfe is an American dramatic television series based on the characters in Rex Stout's books. The series aired on NBC from January 16 to August 25, 1981. William Conrad played Wolfe, while Lee Horsley was his legman Archie Goodwin. Produced by Paramount Television, the series updates the world of Nero Wolfe to contemporary New York City.
