Some people would say I'm a recluse. Some would say an introvert. And they're all right. I like to keep to myself and I love being in my own little world. One day, maybe I'll be a cat lady. No, scratch that, I'm not a cat person. Dogs? Fish? Whatever. Point is, because of my past, I don't do well with people.
Then one day, in the only place outside of my home that I feel comfortable, my world's turned upside down. In walks a man, in his police uniform, who stops me dead in my tracks. Which, of course, I stare at him, and he catches me. Awesomesauce.
Think he left me alone? Nope. On his way out, he even said goodbye to get my attention one more time. I can't work from this coffeehouse anymore. There's no way I can risk running into him again. Guess I'll have to just work at home now.
At least I'll never have to see him again.
