In 2010, Sharon Reed AKA Outten Generation began telling stories to her grandchildren, creating tales on the spot based on their suggestions, like stories about cats or pumpkins. Their joy and enthusiasm inspired her to start writing these stories down. Now, Sharon have 16 rough drafts of children's stories, with one, Needles and the Kittens, dedicated to her grandchildren

Yolanda and Alliyah, who love cats. With the help of a freelance illustrator, she brought this story to life.

Sharon's passion for storytelling, rooted in a lifelong love of reading, has grown into a fulfilling creative endeavor. Although she's a beginner writer, she is motivated by the happiness her stories bring to children, including her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She aspires to continue writing, not only more children's books but also a novel in the future. This journey reflects Sharon's love for storytelling and her desire to share joy and inspiration with young readers.
