By Xavier Menezes

From paradise to perdition in the blink of an eye...Upon a gilded island, free from all nations, at the pinnacle of society stands Nexus- the grandest city in human history. Built and inhabited by the global elite, it's a realm of dreams and wonders, but one day, something cracks. In the year 2070, a mysterious plague sweeps the populace, turning citizens into mindless beasts that tear each other to shreds and flood the streets with blood, sullying a former utopia.Five years in, the city is reduced to a lifeless wasteland, roamed by monsters and marauders. Those that still live must sacrifice their humanity to reach tomorrow, and Matt Ross is no different. Drifting purposelessly through the ruins, he wonders how everything went wrong, questioning the purpose of this miserable existence. But one day, a ray pierces the fog, giving him the chance to break free of his fate and find a safe haven.Risking everything, Matt leaps into a maelstrom of death and secrets, whipped about by fickle allies, old nightmares, ruthless factions, sinister agendas, twisted technology and the hordes of yesterday. What lies in the balance is not merely his own future, but the fate of the city itself, teetering between ruin and resurrection. Upon the boundary of life and death, Matt must ask himself- how far will he go to live another day?
