While the texts like the Koran, the Bible, and the Bhagavad Gita outline the origins of their respective religions. The Urantia Book is different. It is a text written by superhuman, ageless beings through the hands of mortals, and appeared around the early 20th century. Darka Watters wrote the book in order to share the true stories detailed in The Urantia Book. The tales told in Nebadon are drawn directly from the facts included in The Urantia Book, a collection of information compiled by superhuman beings, which provides a history of human life and its origins. These stories document Michaels visits to various planets in Nebadon where he organizes bestowals in the likeness of his creatures in order to understand their lives, hardships, and trials. Nebadon also describes the actions of Caligastia, the Planetary Prince who rebels, along with Lucifer, against Michael, creating the tension that drives Nebadon. Michael's ultimate goal is to lead the inhabitants of Nebadon into the era of Light and Life. Nebadon is a part of a series of books in the "Our Creative Universe Series". It is followed by "The Seventh Bestowal".
