I'd put this book at the lower end of the four star spectrum, almost three stars, and maybe it is the strength of his previous collection, Local Men, that helps me to give this such a high rating. But I do think Whitehead is a poet that is underappreciated and not as well known as he should be. He has the wonderfully concise poems written in the most interesting of voices under the most ridiculously long titles. Whitehead is the perfect blend of colloquialism and intelligence. I do recommend you pick up his collections of poetry. They are hard to get a hold of, but worth finding.
