Easy and Fantastically Fun Reading!!

When people are looking for a book to read, they generally tend to gravitate towards something moving and sentimental, at least in my family. But sometimes you just need to read something fun and thoughtless (not to say that Darnton is thoughtless). I am an English major and I plan to be an author myself. I have read many books, both literary in plot and adventure novels such as Neaderthal. This is a FANTASICALLY fun book to read. People don't give Darnton the credit he deserves. I couldn't put this book down. Within four hours I was wishing there was more because it read so fast that I finished way before I was ready to. All in all this is a great and fun book. Who cares about the research? The stuff that is in there is good and fairly accurate, at least to what I looked up when I was done with the novel. READ THIS BOOK!!!!!! Gary

One of my favorites

I thought this book was excellent. It was one of the best books I've ever read. I thought the scientific information was great because it made a far fetched idea, believable. I learned quite a bit about neanderthals in this process as well. It may not be the best book of you are an expert on Neanderthals, but for myself, I greatly enjoyed it. John Darnton has become one of my favorite authors. I was disappointed to see he's only written one other book, however, that book (the Experiment) I also loved! This was lots of fun. I didn't want it to end. Highly reccommended.

I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

What a great book.It had me totaly caught up in it. The plot took a few twists that were not needed, but what a ride!

Jurassic Park revisited

Think of this as being Jurassic Park with prehistorical men. This book is emthralling and a terribly good page-turner. While there is a strong incense of history, this book also contains romance, action and lots of suspense. This is a book that should be read by any fans of Michael Crichton or anyone who cares a little about history. Buy it now, you won't regret it!!
