Naya Brent is a happy 8 year old girl who enjoys spending time with her grandmother, Gi-Gi, most of all. She's a normal child and the unlikeliest of heroes.
But when her Gi-Gi has a heart attack she's shaken. Her troubles deepen when two pixies fly out of her pillow and into her bedroom. Naya sees an opportunity and captures one of the pixies. She tries to force them to use their magic to heal her grandmother. Instead she's turned into a pixie and falls through her pillow into a fairy world and smack in the middle of a war between warlocks and Pillow Pixies.

Naya's only hope of getting home is to join a group of Pillow Pixies and one rogue warlock on a quest for the Sentinel's Amulet. In a race against time Naya and her new friends must find the amulet and reopen the rift before sunrise or it will be sealed forever. They must also keep control of the rift from falling into the hands of the warlocks.
