The "editor" hates you.

This book is cheaply printed and opens with a note from the 'editor' that basically says he hates the book, hated reading and editing it for format, and hates you for buying it. It's two pages of contempt, ending in an admission that he used generative AI to create the art inside and challenging you to be angrier about that than the content of the book. The book is a satire of spy novels and the sleaze genre and is meant to be ridiculous and over the top and misogynistic, and it tells you as much with the title and the cover, but did Dan Vado the 'editor' know that? He doesn't seem to. He treated the content seriously. He thought this was going to be another "semi-hit" for him like 'Satan is a Lesbian', another book he bought to reprint and tells you about in his forward. He can buy a novel like that and put it out proudly, but this was a step too far? So let's talk about the 'editing'. I put it in quotes because there isn't any. He scanned and changed the formatting and did little else. He claims his time is to precious in that same forward, but doesn't care he took money for something he couldn't be bothered to edit. There is missing punctuation, parts of words missing and misspelled words, entire pages repeated, and two Chapter Twos! (The title is repeated, thankfully not the entire chapter) This book is a mess. Do not give Dan Vado your money. He hates you and doesn't deserve it. As for the content of the book itself: it's what it claims to be. Certainly over-the-top and absurd, taking everything about the spy genre and sleaze novels and turning it up to eleven. I would have more fun with it were it not for the constant mistakes that remind me while I'm reading it that the copy I'm reading is a lazy, contemptuous middle finger directed at me personally, and at the author.
