I first picked this book up in a bookstore a year or so ago. I thumbed through it and nearly bought it. Last summer it was the main text for one of my upper division resource management classes. My prof. was obviously thinking when he decided to use Rees. Quoted often in World Watch Institute works as well as other places this book is a complete introduction to natural resources, economics, and the problems we are facing. I recommend it to anyone with the slightest bit of interest in resources, the environment or economics.
