I believe in the importance of sharing the gifts that were given by the Creator. I hope this collection will strengthen the connection we all feel and strengthen the ties between us as human beings. I have been blessed in my life with the gift of seeing. With honor and respect, I pass on these photographs, bringing a smile and a memory. As Native American we have persevered and grown, teaching the traditions of old and honoring the Earth and each other.
Almost everyone in my family who came before me is now gone, I now stand as the Elder. My collection of photographs, taken in good times and bad, floods me with emotions and memories. Both professionally and personally, in this collection, the Native American community and family are immortalized in the boxes and binders collected during a lifetime. A people doing mundane and extraordinary things, fishing, basket-making, having babies and growing old.
