A delight ... everything is here.

What amazed me was the very good tool pictures for different tribes. I have other books on Indian ( native American) history, customs and culture, but if one like this existed for the east coast tribes I'd buy it in a minute! The author distinguishes the different cultural heritages and levels very well,and is so complete I will be reading this for years to get a better feel for the subject. What really impressed me was Tlingit Monthly Activity tables: it gives you a feel for how they survived and what they did to do it.
