Great preschool atlas

This atlas is perfect for my 3-year-old son. We pull it out regularly to show where something/someone is. It has simple, uncluttered maps with a few details that we can choose to read or not.

Great Young Child's Atlas

I purchased this atlas for my precocious four-year-old granddaughter who is very curious about the world and asking "where is that?" questions. It is simple enough for a young beginner, yet contains enough interesting material to give her food for thought for some time. A real winner!

Great science book for any age

I needed to help my daughter understand science and nature and this book helped out a lot!!

Perfect for my 6-year-old!

This is a great introductory atlas! I like how it starts with a minimalist representation of the Earth- just continents and oceans and builds from there: land features, political boundaries, etc.. The graphics are very clear and simple while being accurate. My daughter found this easy to use for her first grade Social Studies. Very clear and easy to read labels. Basic explanations- not too complicated but informative. My daughter is able to refer to this book on her own with minimal assistance. I highly recommend for first and second graders studying beginning geography and social studies.

Simple enough for me!

This atlas allows me to develop some geography and map concepts that are often difficult for children. The few words and easy to "read" illustrations are going to be a great boon to students who are having difficulty with understanding concepts such as continents, etc.
