Namdalen

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Namdalen (Southern Sami: N mesjevuemie) is a traditional district in the central part of Norway, consisting of the municipalities Namsos, Grong, Overhalla, R yrvik, Fosnes, N r y, H ylandet, Namdalseid, Flatanger, Lierne, Leka, Namsskogan, and Vikna, all in Nord-Tr ndelag county. The district has two towns: Kolvereid and Namsos. The whole district covers about 11,860 square kilometres (4,580 sq mi) and has about 35,000 residents (2009).
