NAKEED is a collection of poems and prose about one woman's journey of discovering her authentic self. This book is about the journey of healing through heartbreaks and letdowns. It's about admitting your mistakes, accepting your flaws, and loving yourself. After the many trials and tribulations of life, she has faced her insecurities and fought through being judged for not being a perfect mother, woman, and friend. She has outgrown the scars of being called ugly, being abandoned, being depressed, and confused. Through it all, she has also experienced love and knows that she still has plenty of love to give. Writing these poems was the only way she could express the feelings that felt trapped inside. She knows that every woman has been through some things and can relate to the words she has written. With hope and faith, she prays this book will help someone heal from their disappointments and emotional heartache.
