King Nadek of Arcanis has earned himself the name of 'Tradere the Deceiver by his refusal to stand with the kings of the other two neighbouring cities against Lord Draven and his invading army.
Eros, Nadek's brother refusing to submit to the tyrant and the inevitable fall of Arcanis leads those who wish to follow him by joining what remains of the defeated two armies into the mountains. Here he meets and falls in love with Athena, only later to be confronted by the arrival of Anna his previous lover.
Meanwhile Nadek's plan to save his city finds himself continually humiliated by Draven who has taken possession of the city, only to find that he cannot save Hera his sisters from a forced marriage to Draven's brother Lord Julian.
Further tragedies follow when Draven massacres Nadek's subjects who live by the lakes.
Now there is only Eros and his small army to defeat for Draven to have conquered the entire land of the three cities.
