Jory Strong's Winning Streak Continues!!!

The 3rd in the Angelini series, this story is instantly engaging. Mystic comes from a family of wolf shapeshifters and has been made to feel insignificant and something of a pariah due to her lack of ability to actually shift. And she knows once she "finds" her mate/s, her freedom will be severely curtailed so she has been knowingly avoiding contact with any males that make her uncomfortable. The story continues with the trials and tribulations of events that are unfolding in Las Vegas. Characters from the previous 2 stories make an appearance but happily it's not absolutely necessary to have read them first in order for this story to make sense. Excellent read and well developed characters with a sense of humor always help.

Jory Strong delivered great characters and hot writing

Good read although the plot wasn't as strong as the other two Angelini books. Jory Strong still delivered great characters and hot writing. Mystic is from a different Angelini family from the heroines of the first two books. It's set in Las Vegas again so the characters from the first two books make occasional appearances. [The Las Vegas they live in has only a nodding acquaintance with reality - but makes a good backdrop for the series.:] Mystic ends up with three mates rather than the usual two - two wolf shifters [one of whom is a cop and raised as a human, one of whom wants to form his own pack:] and a very ancient vampire who was originally a gryphon... Sexual dynamics, power politics, and various crimes abound. And did I mention there is a wizard who digs the whole 'evil overlord' scenario? Very good read. The characters were strong and passionate and the plot was never boring. Once again a Jory Strong success!

I loved this book because it continued the story line of the previous two books, I can't wait for the story to continue. Hopefully, the author will continue to write this series.
