A middle grade to young adult readers, "Mystery Loves Company" is the story of Rose and Fred Samson, twins who along with their neighbor Sasha, want to solve the problem of their vanishing grandparents, owners of the Dubliners Cheese. Along their time-travel through a mystery book they find in a secret attic, they meet up with some infamous gangsters, including Al Capone and Bugs Moran. The three kids are catapulted into the past and future and some very dangerous situations, but they are befriended by a detective who becomes instrumental in their search for the Dubliners.
