Okay, I admit it. I'm officially losing my mind. I could swear on a stack of bibles that when I left the house this morning to work in the yard, left the crock pot warming. I was going to have yesterday's leftover stew for lunch and dinner today. The whole damn crockpot is gone Disappeared. Invisible. Figment of my decaying imagination.
With my hands on my hips, I squint my eyes and let my gaze slowly rove the tiny kitchen, then the living room space. Nothing, everything is just as I left it except the crockpot is missing. Next I wander into the bedroom, look it over as well. Nothing. Nada. Nichego. Le rien.
