Great mystery/suspense/thriller for kids!

I must say this book scared me as a kid, especially Billy's werewolf story! The twins and Billy are believeable kids who get involved with a crook hiding on Billy's farm. I think Adam Mills (I forget his real name) is good at telling a tale with the right amount of spine-tingling thrills for the non-desensitized 10-15 year old mind.
