In My Zaida Eleanor Cullick takes you back into an era similar to now; yet much different. We are able to peek into her home and visit with her family - immigrants and refugees from the Holocaust We learn bits of Yiddish and see a different way of living from most people today. The immigrants from Poland and Lithuania were very humble and thankful to have made it here. They worked hard to Achieve their life dreams. Some of the people appear to have some of the symptoms of ptsd due to what they or their family members suffered from the holocaust or war. Yet, many of them overcame by their faith in Adonai and their desire to help other people who had been the same traumas. Eleanor reveals her strong passion for living life to the fullest and not wanting to miss anything. It was her desire for you the reader to have glimpses of her life via publication of these memories- the names were changed to protect the innocent.
