If you ask me, I think it is remarkable that this character smoked his last weed in the morning of the same day that he gave his life to Christ, thirty one years ago.
Shouldn't there have been some withdrawal symptoms? Shouldn't there have been a battle with the urge to smoke again?
With the finality of a divorce, it was clean break. Unusual.
