perfect for young children

This is a simply written, well illustrated book - ideal for very young children - suitable as an introduction to both the Old and New Testaments. It presents the highlights without dwelling heavily on the tragic components (an important distinction when dealing with very young children.) It may not have sufficient appeal for older readers, as it might appear overly simplistic, but for the toddler to preschool range it is well suited, and encourages further exploration. The construction is well designed for young children, as it is small enough for them to handle and carry easily to Sunday school, and sufficiently durable to cope with their less than tender care!
