Amazingly Informative and Entertaining

Bravo and kudos for a refreshingly different biography! I have now read and re-read this book three times; and every time I learn more. It is a combination of a marvelous success story of perseverance and talent, a history lesson given from a personal perspective of WWII - related with the unique clarity of the insight of youth, a delightful review of decades of theater events, and a biography full of wide-ranging experiences and pictorials. The addition of insight into the life of a great inventor and brilliant businessman was a great surprise bonus. I have given it as a gift to my most important clients and would buy several more in a heartbeat.

Dame Celia Lipton Farris is an incredible woman who has lead an inspiring life. Reading the book gives you a tremendous snapshot of a remarkable time and insight into the people, places and events that shaped a fascinating time. The book is well-written and the photography is brilliant.

This is a fabulous book that only is able to give a brief snapshot of the breadth of this truly elegant, talented and beautiful woman. My husband and I are both acquainted with the terrific Dame Celia and are happy to say that she is the real deal.
