My Theory of Practice: APC Board Certification

In 2018, I began to write my Theory of Practice for board certification through the Association of Professional Chaplains. The journey for BCC status is a self reflective road. The competency's are designed to tap into a person's religious beliefs, faith traditions, cultural and family influences- using your whole person to engage the care recipient in ministry.

This is my finished Theory of Practice essay portfolio. I was approved and recommended for Board Certification on Thursday, October 28th, 2021. I am publishing this work as a legacy for my family and children.
