From growing up on the rough sides of Rockford and Chicago, Illinois without a mother around, to enduring many beatings from his abusive father who later ends up in prison while he is 13 years old, to being placed in the foster care system and going to 3 homeless shelters, 13 different foster homes, a residential facility for two years, to being robbed at gunpoint, sleeping inside of a greyhound bus station and an airport, all while just hitting the age of 18 years old, the young Author takes you through a journey, opening up about the struggles and hardships he has faced throughout his life, all while trying to become successful and beat the odds.
