My Story: A Neuromuscular Disease and it's Human

No one could foretell the road that I would be required to travel. But maybe you, dear reader, will profit from my journey and thus be able to exercise a wisdom that I lacked-a wisdom that is learned based on experience. My story takes place within the world of work. It is the journey of my work life as I constantly choose to accommodate the physical changes in my body caused by an aggressive neuromuscular disease. I did not know the meaning of quit-discouraged-yes, but quit, no. As a result, sometimes I made poor decisions, but at least I did something. Before you pat me on the back, however, I was finally forced to learn the value of dialing down in order to better evaluate realistic options. My prayer for you is to be able to avoid unnecessary anxiety-a goal to treasure. You might even experience a much needed inner peace based on wise decision making
