On May 29th of 2016, while most of America was enjoying the first holiday of summer. I lay on my floor alone, suffering a hemorrhagic stroke. Did I die at that moment? I think not. But what I can tell you is that, in the moments and hours that followed, I walked with Albert Einstein and spoke with Abraham Lincoln. I was carried by a great phoenix to a place where my mind teetered from this life and into an alternate reality.
