This book is a compilation of themes broadly related to our current world. It is meant to incite reflection and debate with no intention to express the absolute truth on every subject handled. It is my hope to see it stimulating rather interrogations and critical reflections around the topics at hand.Nowadays, things are moving fast and everybody have its own concerns and worries to manage on a daily basis. Thus, it seems commonsensical to avoid inflicting to citizens of this modern World, lengthy, harsh and heavy readings. Moreover, the variety of the themes with no links or correlation between them allow more space and enjoy an easy and less annoying reading. In that vein, again, this book remains an invitation to critical debates and in-depth analysis as well as a wakeup call for Africans.Hence, you will find topics which could be stocked to a blackboard and discussed between friends or colleagues, (alike during a brainstorming), with every participants coming forward with his /her ideas. Which is why, a bloody number of themes are ending with open questions expected to encourage further debates on the various topics. As the Wiseman said: "You must often question things commonly considered as evident" However, Africans, invariably, have the strange and irrational habit to just learn and swallow all believes and ideologies coming from others and refrain from daring to question them or contest them. Then, this book will reverse such a surprising tendency and incite Africans to be more critical and open minded. Good reading and fruitful debates to all.
