My son has practically memorized this book he loves it so much. I've got a (minor) question for Dagmar Fehlau (or anyone else that might have an idea). The illustrations are cool, and on two of the pages, there are tiny little hats floating in the sky with wires coming out of them. UFOs? Houses? I'm curious.
Helping my five year old read

My little boy, the second of our five children, does not enjoy learning to read. But he DOES want to learn to read this book. We read it about once a week, and he's slowly progressing. The younger books don't capture his attention. He's a robot fanatic, so that helps a lot. Good reader that's short, but not too short. Good illustrations, and just enough challenge for a beginning reader. Sra. Gose Mother of Five, Author Flip Flop Spanish

Dagmar Fehlau illustrates this new 'Green Light Reader' for Level 2 readers. Fun activities accent the equally fun story of a robot who has all kinds of adventures. Short sentences, simple dialogue and many attractive color drawings create an inviting chapter book kids can really enjoy.
