My Road to Solace: A Path to Spiritual Wholeness

The seasons of living and sickness and dying all blended together sometimes. The emptiness filled up my soul with its meaningless love. I didn't know it would take so long or be so hard to find a good space again where I could be me, and live my life with some semblance of peace. Losing a person you love with all of your heart and soul, losing a job that defines who you are, losing your family and friends and your home; even one of these events by itself, can turn your world upside down and inside out. You can either get stuck and live your life in a muck of sadness, or you can find a way to transcend. I share my journey through this nebulous zone with the reader via a combination of poetry and poetic prose illustrated with photographs taken by my husband along the way.
