Brialan Douglass, a survivor of bullying and abuse, began writing this poetic story in the third grade, encouraged by his mother and third-grade teacher.
His journey is a testament to the human spirit's resilience and the power of creative expression to overcome even the darkest of times.
A young boy, initially feeling that his autism would overshadow his purpose, discovered his true calling through his unique abilities. His circumstances, which he once saw as a hindrance, became the very thing that set him apart and allowed him to shine.
My purpose, ordained by God, is a collection of short stories, adventure stories, and poems.
