My best friend is losing her mind. She is the closest person to me outside of my family and I'm at a loss on how to help her. When she was sane, she was great. All I can do now is watch her downward spiral into madness. Then as quickly as she fell into madness, she's gone. After a terrifying event occurs to us both, I find my purpose. I failed at saving Becks. I was supposed to help her and I failed.
Working with the unhelpful ruler of death does little for the grief I feel from my failure. My purpose has now shifted and I must live with the crushing guilt of failing someone I loved in life and was supposed to help in death.
