Pea, one of the chicks, has a cat named Puffy Cat. Puffy Cat couldn't keep up with the other cats in the area, but he was brave. He made friends with a big dog named Oil and had a pet mouse named Harry. The chicks made the kitties hammocks for sleeping and a ramp to help Puffy Cat go over the fence. One day Puffy Cat noticed his fur was a dull blue. So the chicks took him to the Cat Cut and Dye Salon. To thank the chicks for his new fur-do, he made them a paw painting.
