This Journal is about the Hindu Goddess Laksmi, who is the Goddess of Prosperity, Wealth, and Abundance. The focus of this Journal is Prosperity. In the Autumn during the Divali Festival, Laksmi is honored with colorful chalk drawings, as well as lighting floating candles on bodies of water. There are few people who do not want to be more prosperous. Laksmi is that Goddess. She is always depicted with a flow of gold coins coming from one of her palms. Not only do we want to be monetarily prosperous but also prosperous in mind, body, and spirit.
