IntroductionWe all know that marriage is ordained by God. We can find the first marriage in Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him 21 And the LORD God cause a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. (KJV)At of all the things God had created He saw that there was nothing compatible to Adam so in all His wisdom God cause a deep sleep to fall on Adam just for the purpose of taking one rib from his side to make a female from a male; closed up his side with flesh; then brought the woman to Adam. When Adam saw this he was amazed seeing what God has made for his own body. How did Adam know that she came from his side God never told him that; but he must have felt some kind of pain from the surgery and said bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh; you shall be called Woman came from Man.He adored this Woman God had introduce him to thus coming the first married couple on the earth.God has put Adam and Eve together with the attention of populating the earth. He did say be fruitful and multiply not only in having children but in all things. Working together in agreement as a couple brings great gain in the home. Both parent working or in the old day when cost of living was at its low; the wife would be taking care the inside of her home while the husband was out working as you can see Adam doing.The book My Parents A Successful marriage is based on my experience of viewing my own parents marriage and how God brought them together as a couple. It is not to say my parents didn't have issue during their course of fifty seven years of marriage cause they're both crazy; mom crazier than dad but to show you God can work through anything if we allow Him to help us to have a successful marriage till death do you part.I believe if we put God first marriage can last. When a man leave his father and mother he suppose to cleave to his wife which simply means that once he leave his parents he has that responsibility to take what he has learned from his parent and use it in his. It also can mean a man should never think of returning back to his parents' house. When I was a child I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned as a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me (1 Cor 13:11 NIV).There's no more thinking as a child once you leave your parent house you have became a man. You've decided to take on the responsibilities of a man. You ought to learn your wife and know how to keep the marriage going in the order of God. Don't be like Abraham and take your father with you when he was told by God to leave your kindred. Stand up on your own feet and seek God's guidance.
